Masjid Bilal’s journey began with a small group of dedicated Muslims gathering in North Houston with a shared vision: to establish a place of worship, learning, and unity for the growing Muslim community. What started as informal gatherings soon evolved into a formal effort to serve the needs of North Houston’s diverse and vibrant Muslim population.
Through the grace of Allah ﷻ and the tireless efforts of community members, a property was acquired and gradually transformed into what is now Masjid Bilal. With careful planning and ongoing support, the masjid expanded its services to include regular prayers, Islamic classes, youth programs, and community events—all grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Over the years, Masjid Bilal has grown into a cornerstone of faith and service, welcoming hundreds of worshippers each week. As the needs of the community continue to grow, Masjid Bilal remains committed to expanding its facilities and programs to ensure it remains a welcoming space for all generations.
